VALLIFERONE FARMHOUSE, thanks to its suggestive country setting in natural surroundings, offers the possibility to experience nature first hand by living in charming apartments located within an ancient farmhouse that has been completely remodeled with precious materials and modern conveniences that both enhance and retain the old Tuscan architecture.
It is a well situated for lovers of trekking and mountain-biking with many nearby trails. It is also the perfect place for those who want to spend their holiday enjoying relaxing moments while being fascinated by nature far away from the cities, yet close enough for sightseeing when desired. It is the perfect location for those who enjoy sampling and learning about the local high quality products, such as wine and oil, and for the expert on the typical Tuscan cuisine who is ready to sample a broad range of local dishes.
APARTMENTS Each of the nine apartment is named for one the trees of our luxuriant forest and has its own unique size and configuration. The furniture has been chosen with great care and the interiors boast the best materials of the traditional Tuscan country style, such as terra-cotta floors, heart-wood, beamed ceilings and Carrara marble. All the apartments are comfortable, well built with a great emphasis on detail. Each of them provides: - a fully equipped and furnished kitchenette, with a cooker/stove, a fridge, and all the necessary utensils to be able to easily prepare any food you desire. - a comfortable living room with sofa and table and a colour satellite television - a bedroom with king size bed and wardrobe. - a bathroom with shower - complete linen and towels for the kitchen, the bathroom and the bedroom Furthermore, using the modularity of the apartments, we can offer different solutions to accommodate groups of varying sizes. RELAX AREAS… relax in the shade of the cork tree... In addition to the surrounding hills and trails, the property itself offers many choices for relaxation. In summer season, from the 15th of May to the first days of October, swimming is available in our two swimming pools, one for children and one, with jacuzzi, for the adults. Surrounding the pool you'll also find a solarium zone with sun loungers, parasols, tables and restrooms and a very beautiful large green open space area. Guests also enjoy the shade offered by our magnificent cork tree that is more than 100 years old, emblem of a timeless place and a primitive relaxation away from the world and close to the soul. Moreover, all our guests can use the barbecue, the wood burning fireplace, and the hammock, Ping-pong, lawn bowling, and other games are available as well as a playground for children and a playground for volleyball, soccer and basket. PRODUCTS … discover the original taste of Tuscany... In our farmhouse, you'll have the opportunity to buy and taste typical Tuscan products. In particular, we offer our guests a selection of locally handmade pasta, honey, tisane, spices, local wines, truffle products and our famous extravirgin olive oil. For those who love the Tuscan Cuisine it is possible to taste typical products at local farms SURROUNDINGS ... live in Tuscany... Valliferone is located in the heart of Tuscany, ideal place to relax surrounded by the fresh air, peace, and tranquillity of the Tuscan countryside surrounded by hills, medieval villages, and a unique, unforgettable landscape. We are in an ideal position to reach cities of historical and cultural importance like Pisa, Florence, Siena e Volterra or, if you prefer being active, you can walk, jog, or ride a mountain bike in open country and book horse riding as well. Not far away you can experience the benefits the warm thermal waters of the spa at Casciana Terme in a very suggestive and emotional environments or opt for a day at the nearby beaches. (only 20 minutes to reach the beaches of Pisa or Livorno).
